Kwong Lung Enterprise (8916-TW), a global leader in functional outerwear manufacturing, today reported consolidated revenue of NT$770 million for June 2026, down 13.4% from the previous month but up 4.0% year-over-year. The company attributed the return to annual growth primarily to stronger apparel shipments as major brand customers gradually increased order deliveries with the industry entering its traditional peak shipping season. By business segment, apparel revenue reached NT$478 million, up 8.4% year-over-year, with its contribution to total revenue increasing to 62.1%, reaffirming apparel as the group's largest business segment. Down products generated NT$192 million, down 7.6%, reflecting normal shipment scheduling adjustments by customers. Home textiles recorded NT$96 million, up 10.2%, indicating improving customer inventory conditions as seasonal demand gradually strengthened. Management noted that apparel revenue returned to positive year-over-year growth in June after a modest decline in May, reflecting improving shipment activity from key brand customers. Monthly performance in the down segment continued to fluctuate due to customer shipment scheduling, while operations across all business segments remained consistent with planned production and delivery schedules. For the second quarter, consolidated revenue totaled NT$2.28 billion, representing a 6.4% year-over-year decline. The company stated that it will continue to execute production and deliveries based on customer requirements while maintaining its focus on product mix optimization, supply chain flexibility, and operational efficiency. |
